Chi Rising

Feng Shui Training

“If there is harmony in the home, there will be serenity in the land. If there is serenity in the land, there will be peace in the world.”

—Chinese Proverb

Chi Rising's professional Feng Shui training is based on the teachings of the Black Hat form, introduced into the U.S. by Professor Lin Yun, a world-renowned authority. Because the principles of Feng Shui apply to all areas of life, subjects covered in this five-month curriculum are broad and unique.

Both scientific and pragmatic, the Black Hat form combines ancient and modern teachings while acknowledging no difference between consciousness, intention, and matter. Indeed, all matter is an expression of intention. Through understanding the principles of chi (life force), the art of Feng Shui allows us to interact co-creatively with our environment.

Becoming a Feng Shui practitioner requires knowledge and technique, which provides the basis to go beyond the scientific and into spiritual and mystical realms. The curriculum integrates these realms and leads to Feng Shui practitioners fulfilling a variety of roles: designer, healer, financial advisor, organizer, matchmaker, psychologist, even personal and business advisor.

What do you require? A clear and open mind, and pure intentions. Knowledge of Feng Shui is helpful but not required. Please read Interior Design with Feng Shui by Sarah Rossbach before beginning the program. Expand your unique talents in the all-encompassing world of Feng Shui.

“As the instructor, I encourage the unique qualities of all trainees to emerge in their discovery of Feng Shui, and encourage them to extend their gifts with love and compassion to all who seek assistance.”

All Feng Shui students will have direct, extensive experience working with floor plans, researching on-site locations, conducting an aspect of a Feng Shui consultation, and interacting with clients. Class assignments include individual research projects.
